Caricature Artist Brisbane
Looking for a caricature artist in Brisbane? I'm Joanne Brooker, and I've been drawing live at weddings, corporate events and parties across Brisbane and South East Queensland for years.
Guests line up, laugh at themselves, and go home with a hand-drawn keepsake.
All I need from the venue is a table, four chairs and good light. I bring the talent!
I know Brisbane's event spaces because I've worked in them.
Recent events include Stamford Plaza Brisbane, The Triffid in Newstead, Cloudland in Fortitude Valley,
Arcana Brisbane, Wynnum Manly Yacht Club, The Johnson in Spring Hill, Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich, and Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast and so many other fabulous venues.
Weddings
Caricatures fill the gap beautifully between the ceremony and the reception, or during the photos.
Corporate events and Christmas parties
Gala dinners, awards nights, trade show stands, staff Christmas parties, family fun days.
Caricatures get people talking to each other, which is usually the whole point of the event.
For expos and trade shows, a live artist stops foot traffic at the stand better than anything printed.
Christmas dates book out early — December Fridays and Saturdays usually go first.

I am so thankful that we booked Jo to attend our wedding, and her caricatures of our guests made for a unique and timeless gift for everyone to take home.

Booking Fee
$270 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. No GST.
For events more than about an hour's drive from Brisbane I add one hour's travel fee
For Brisbane city events, there's no travel charge at all.
Card payment on the night is fine, or I can invoice you after the booking is confirmed.

We had Jo booked for our end of year Christmas party and she was great! There was always a line up to have a picture drawn and it provided great entertainment for the other guests to observe other peoples pictures being drawn. Quality of drawings were fantastic and guests were happy to be able to take something home from the event. Would recommend and consider her again for future events!
